There is a difference between various medium as images, audio, and video, and its’ content. Know.IT licenses the content [copyright] in order to control the usage of these media, in the same way that musician’s control who can reproduce their music. This prevents illegal and irresponsible usage and provides a mechanism whereby the commissioner [depending on the terms of the license] has the rights to use the media for a given specified use and time period.
It is important that consideration is given to any requirements of usage, the purpose of the media and where they will be used so that the right licence can be issued or re-issued.
For those businesses and individuals who have not come across the Licencing procedure before, it is very straight forward. This can be explained by our staff.
 
Know.Itall means Know.IT Ltd. As a client of Know.IT, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions stated in this document. You acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms and conditions by initialising the bottom of each page then, signing and dating the last page.
 
  • General
Unless otherwise agreed or specified in any order form, rental request form, and enrolment acceptance, the terms of any contract between the parties will continue until written notice is received from either party.
Know.IT will make a genuine and reasonable commercial effort to supply the services specified in any of its forms. Any time frames specified will be deemed approximate, and Know.IT will not be liable for failure to deliver or delay in delivering service or products, due to factors outside of their control.

  • Pricing

The price of goods/services will be as published by Know.IT. Know.IT reserves the right to amend its prices/quotation at any time and to pass on any cost increases outside of its control including, exchange fluctuations, which may arise between date of acceptance of an order and the date of delivery.
Once you have received a formal acceptance into one of our Courses, and paid for your Course you may not cancel, unless the cancellation is within the prescribed timeframes, as stated on your Enrolment contract. Feel free to contact us to discuss any difficulties you may experience with this.
All Course fees must be paid in full before the commencement of your Course. We offer several ways you can make your payment. Phone now to enquire.

Microsoft Office Skills training starts at $130pp plus GST (per module). Each module is outlined on the "Course List' tab.

Technical Training - Certification Preparation Courses start at $1350pp plus GST. These Courses can be designed around other work commitments. Talk to us to find out the options available to you.

General Technical sessions start at $85pp plus GST.

Business Planning sessions start at $85pp plus GST.

Office Processes modules start at $85pp plus GST.

Private and Corporate Training services are customised to meet individual needs and will be charged out accordingly.

  • Terms of Credit
Know.IT normal terms of credit are: cash, internet transfer, eftpos or credit card (a surcharge may apply), unless a prior arrangement has been made. We are happy to discuss other payment options with you.
All training course fees, must be paid, in full, prior to the course starting.
 
  • Payment
Payments shall be made as per any written agreement between the parties. New clients are required to make payment in full, upon completion of work. Current clients must pay by the due date specified on your invoice, or if not stated, within 7 days of the date on your invoice.
Interest of 2.5% shall be charged on all outstanding amounts from the date payment was due.
Any expenses, disbursements and legal costs incurred by Know.IT to enforce their rights to collect, shall be paid by the customer including any reasonable solicitors fees or debt collection agency fees.
Payment by cheque shall not be deemed a payment until the cheque has been cleared by the bank.
You cannot withhold payment or make any deductions from any amount you owe us without our prior written consent.
Where we agree to attend at a specified place, all costs or losses to Know.IT or its' representative/s, as a consequence of a no show, will be charged to the client/s accordingly.
 
  • Returns and Warranty
No products will be accepted for return without the invoice.
All Warranty claims must be accompanied by the invoice and the Warranty certificate.
Know.IT will endeavour to carry out its legal liability where ever possible within the confines of the Warranty.
Products for return must be in the same resalable condition and in the manufacturers original packaging.
Know.IT may impose certain conditions on you with regard to product storage and use, from time to time, due to terms being imposed on Know.IT by its suppliers.
  • Accreditation
The Directors of Know.IT hold the appropriate certification to support the training programmes on offer. These documents are on display at their premises.
  • Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand and any dispute under them shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of New Zealand.
